First Descents provides life-changing outdoor adventures for young adults with cancer and other severe health conditions. This is important to me because the outside is such an amazing thing, and everyone should be given the opportunity to be out there.

Getting outside means the most to me because nothing makes me feel more alive than being in my kayak running the rapids. It's a type of meditation, and nothing else matters at that moment than focusing on what's in front of me. Plus, the feeling you get from being away from everything and out of cell phone service, in a remote place, on the river is unparalleled.
Keola provides me with a product that heightens the quality of my outdoor activities and my life. Being outside often and being very active in general gives me aches, pains, and anxiety from all the work at my day job. Keola's products reduce my pain and help me get into a relaxing mood at the end of a long day on the river or work out.
